EMDR is very effective in working with trauma, phobia's, traumatic grief, depression and much more. It is a powerful therapy that can address the root of many problems.
EMDR uses alternate eye movements, or tapping alongside identifying specific memories, which enables our natural ability to process events. I guide you through this process in sessions.

Kintsugi
I really love the art & philosophy of Kintsugi, this ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer, which is dusted or mixed with gold, silver, or platinum, highlights the beauty in broken things. Similar to the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, it embraces the flawed or imperfect. The cracks & repairs being highlighted as an event in the lifetime of the object.
It makes me reflect on my life & working with people.
We all experience, loss, trauma, hurt & distress in our lives. We may feel broken, different, knocked down. Sometimes we are able to come to terms with what has happened by ourselves or with the support of friends or family. However there may be times when we all need a little more support from a professional.
In coming to terms with these events, the knocks, dents or feelings of brokenness in life there can be something precious in the journey, like the gold seam in the bowl I see the value in everyone, no matter what they have experienced.
